Malayalam film manichithrathazhu directed by Fazil was remaked by Priyadarshan in hindi named BhulBhulaiyaa. The tamil version of the film by P.Vasu starring Rajnikanth was made so badly giving importance to Rajni's character.. Which made the film very untidy. The film manichitratazhu also has other remakes in kannada and telugu..too.
